Suvodirsen (formerly known as WVE-210201) is an investigational stereopure oligonucleotide being developed as a potential treatment for boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy with mutations amenable to exon 51 skipping. Wave has initiated DYSTANCE 51, a global phase 2/3 clinical trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of suvodirsen. On Oct. 16, 2019, PPMD and Wave Life Sciences hosted an informational webinar to provide an overview of the suvodirsen program, including the DYSTANCE 51 Phase 2/3 clinical trial.
