WATCH: Caring for the Caregiver – Webinar Recording

Caring for a child with a complex condition such as Duchenne or Becker muscular dystrophy can be a tremendous burden on caregivers, especially if those caregivers are family members. Not only is there an emotional strain on the caregiver, but the related stress can cause physical, social, and even financial burdens.

In a recent webinar, PPMD welcomed Dr. Kendra J. Bjoraker to begin a discussion about the effects of caregiving and provide suggestions to improve caregiver quality of life.

If you missed the live event, the recording can be found below.
