Using The Duchenne Registry to Recruit for Clinical Trials

A key goal of The Duchenne Registry is to connect individuals with Duchenne or Becker muscular dystrophy to the researchers who are leading the clinical trials and research studies. We do this by offering a targeted recruitment service through the registry. This successful service has been utilized for over 150 clinical trials and research studies since the registry began in 2007. By ascertaining subsets of registrants, we can quickly identify target populations with the characteristics needed for recruitment of specific studies.
