PPMD’s 2022 Annual Conference: Knight Hacks Poster Contest

Thanks to the generosity of PTC Therapeutics and members of the community, PPMD has established Knight Hacks: Everyday Tips and Tricks for Families, in memory of Angela Knight.

One of Angela Knight’s enduring legacies is that she never let Duchenne stop her son Jack from doing everything he wanted in life.

Whether it was creating travel adventures, finding accessible transportation when there seemed to be none, or setting Jack up for successful independent living in college, Angela always found a way to make things work.

Knight Hacks Poster Contest

We’re pulling together our community to learn about what they do to make life easier to share ideas and hacks with one another with our ‘Knight Hacks’ Contest!  Families can submit their hacks to showcase to others what they do at home, while traveling or at school to make life easier – such as attaching gaming equipment to a Hoyer Lift for easy playing in bed, using a spaghetti strainer for light switches, and making a table top with C-clamps to adjust table height.  What is it that you do?  No matter how big or small, share your hack!

Participate in our first-ever Knight Hacks contest at PPMD’s 2022 Annual Conference, and see real-life hacks during our Poster Session & Resource Fair!
