PPMD Moves Date of 2020 Annual Conference to July 23-25, 2020

In light of the ongoing uncertainty brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, PPMD has decided to move the date of our 26th Annual Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona scheduled in June. The new date is THURSDAY, JULY 23, 2020 – SATURDAY EVENING, JULY 25, 2020 with our preconference meetings taking place on July 22.

We are hopeful that come July, COVID-19 will be behind us and families will be ready to gather with the Duchenne community for what we believe will be an extraordinary Annual Conference. If the global situation has not improved and there are continued concerns about safety and travel for our community, PPMD will re-evaluate this decision and consider other alternatives, including the possibility of a virtual conference. We remain optimistic that this won’t be the case, but as always, the health and safety of our community is our top priority so we will continue to monitor the situation and consult with our team of experts to make an informed decision.
