Duchenne and Me Letter & Becker and Me Letter

These one-page letters provide an overview of Duchenne/Becker, as well as important information to help teachers ensure your child is successful throughout the year. Be sure to make copies of this letter and provide it to any teacher, aid, or administrator who may interact with your child throughout the school day. 

PPMD’s Emergency School Action Plan

It’s important your child’s school knows what to do and who to call in case of a medical emergency. Fill out the Emergency School Action Plan for the school nurse to keep on file. Remember to have your emergency care card attached to your child’s backpack or wheelchair as well!
