The misty weather didn’t get in the way for the Neenah Fun Run to End Duchenne on September 10, 2022. Nearly 200 participants gathered together at O’Hauser Park in Neenah, Wisconsin, to support the Emshoff-Dorschner family and their son, Blake, who is living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
The 1.5 mile fun run involved a color run, which doused participants in colored powder. Companies came out in droves donating gifts to the event, including medals from Sport-O-Motive and dessert from Crumbl Cookie.
Angela Emshoff stated after the event, “We want to thank everyone who made this day possible! It was a wonderful day and we feel very loved and supported. Words cannot begin to describe how grateful we are to have you all in our lives!”
After raising $15,000 to support PPMD’s mission, the Emshoff-Dorschner family plans to make this an annual event. Thank you so much to Angela and her family, and all of their friends and family who helped to make this event such a success!
