With the coronavirus (COVID-19) top of mind in headlines across the country, in addition to the continued risk for flu and other respiratory illnesses, PPMD has consulted with clinicians from many of our Certified Duchenne Care Centers to determine the best course of action for our upcoming events.
As such, there will no longer be an in-person End Duchenne Tour stop in Atlanta next weekend. Instead, we will be a hosting a virtual meeting. Please note that we have made this decision out of an abundance of caution and in our ongoing effort to protect our community.
Join the Virtual Meeting
Our virtual meeting on Saturday, March 14, 10 AM – 12 PM ET will consist of live, interactive care and research panels, as well as access to pre-recorded updates from our industry partners. We will also be working with your local PPMD’s Connect Coordinators to host a family gathering in Atlanta at a later date. If you are not part of the PPMD’s Connect Georgia & South Carolina group, please get in touch via email or Facebook.
Please let us know if you have any questions. To learn more about the coronavirus, please continue to review the CDC’s website for information.
