PPMD’s End Duchenne Tour
2024
This year we are excited to introduce PPMD Together, a meeting series designed to emphasize connection, address quality of life issues, and provide insights into Duchenne care. These gatherings will offer us an opportunity to reflect on the progress achieved over the past three decades and the work we will continue – together – as we fight for every future. The meetings will also provide an opportunity for families to interact and learn from one another and other members of the community including industry partners, care providers, and advocates.
2023 Stops
In an effort to reach every single family facing a Duchenne diagnosis in the U.S., PPMD has launched a multi-year community experience called the End Duchenne Tour. Combining each of the pillars that make up PPMD’s mission, the End Duchenne Tour brings updates on research, advocacy, and care to cities across the country, featuring a roster of leading experts in the Duchenne space.
You have told us what topics are the most important to you and we have listened, using your feedback to inform our robust agenda at each tour stop. This is also an opportunity to connect with local families and, when possible, explore your area Certified Duchenne Care Center.
PPMD’s End Duchenne Tour stops are one-day long events, providing updates on the latest clinical trials and early-stage research, care standards, and practical resources. Our Tour stops also give families the opportunity to interact with vetted leaders in Duchenne, connect with other local families on the same journey, and share ways to become involved in PPMD’s programs and The Duchenne Registry.
Although each tour stop is marketed to those in the broader region, we welcome anyone to register and attend regardless of where you live! Registration will open approximately two months prior to each event.
