Health & Well-Being

  • Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
    Chip provides health insurance to eligible children under age 19 based on family size and income even if covered by another health insurance policy.

  • Disabled Children’s Program
    This program provides health insurance to children under age 19 who have a disability as defined by the Social Security Administration and meet Nursing Facility, Hospital or Intermediate Care Facility Level of Care criteria.   Financial eligibility is based on the child’s income and resources.  Cost to provide care at home must be equal to or less than the cost at an institution.

  • Aged, Blind and Disabled Medicaid
    Individuals under 65 who require medical services provided in a Nursing Care Facility may be eligible for health insurance through this program.  Eligibility is also based on income and resources.
