Teen & Young Adult Trial Participation in Duchenne – Industry & Community Perspectives (March 2020)

Santhera Pharmaceuticals joined Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD) for a webinar on March 4, 2020 to discuss teen and young adult clinical trial participation. We heard from Santhera about lessons learned by conducting one of the largest trials in Duchenne. PPMD Adult Advisory Committee members and trial participants Colin Werth and Austin LeClair also joined us for an open discussion about their experiences, including why they choose to participate in trials, how they make trial participation possible with their daily lives, and guidance to other teens and young adults considering trial participation.
