PPMD was recently joined by PTC Therapeutics for a community webinar. PTC shared information regarding EMFLAZA and PTC Cares, its programs that support the Duchenne community. Topics included understanding your prescription, how to ensure you have access to EMFLAZA, and what Dispense as Written (DAW) means. PTC also discussed the potential of receiving a generic, how DAW products and generics differ in terms of patient support, and how to make sure you obtain the medication you and your healthcare provider decide is right for you.
