When this school year started, none of us could have imagined how it would end. The Class of 2020 has faced challenges, setbacks, and heartbreaks like no other class in recent history. But we have so much to celebrate!
Graduations and moving up ceremonies are especially important to our community. They are a milestone and a moment of significant achievement for our kids.
That’s why this month, in honor of the class of 2020, PPMD will be celebrating with a virtual graduation!
If you have a kid with Duchenne who is graduating from middle school, high school, college, grad school, or even moving up from pre-school to kindergarten or kindergarten to first grade – share their accomplishment with PPMD!
All photos are due by May 22 at 12 PM EDT. If you have questions, email will@parentprojectmd.org (subject line: Class of 2020).
HOW TO JOIN THE CELEBRATION:
- Click here to download a sign your child can fill out and hold. Take a photo of your grad holding their sign, in a cap & gown, school jersey, or PPMD swag!
- Upload your photo here by Friday, May 22!
- On May 29 at 12 PM EDT, PPMD and the Adult Advisory Committee will host a special Virtual Graduation Celebration on Facebook Live with an extra special, celebrity guest!
- Later that day, PPMD’s Adult Advisory Committee will host a Class of 2020 Virtual After Party for high school and college graduates!
Even if you don’t have a graduate in your life, you won’t want to miss this special streaming event with our superstar guest!
Together let’s celebrate the Class of 2020. Share our vision – end Duchenne!
