  Chief Executive Officer, Capricor, Inc.Dr. Marbán is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Capricor, Inc., and has served in that capacity and on the Board since 2010. As co-founder of Capricor, Dr. Marbán has been with the company since its inception in 2005. She combines her background in basic science research with her business experience to lead the Company and create a path to commercialization for its novel therapies for rare diseases.
