Thanks to the work of our Duchenne community over the past two decades, Congress has regularly supported important programs and policies to advance research, public health, drug development, and other Duchenne priorities. To ensure that we can continue this legacy of progress, we need you to act – right now – to urge Congress to keep making Duchenne a priority.
As you know, much is new in Congress with more than 100 new members of the House – nearly a quarter of the entire body – alone. Many of these new members know little about Duchenne and our work to date. To help turn them into supporters, please contact your House Member and Senators to urge them to support families impacted by Duchenne by signing the FY 2020 Duchenne Appropriations Sign-on letter. Have friends and family who always ask how they can help? Tell them to take two minutes to complete our action alert asking their Members of Congress to support the request.
By contacting your Members of Congress and developing or advancing relationships with key staff, you will help us achieve the support needed to make continued progress. Please take a moment – right now – to make this contact.
