3rd Annual Kindness Over Muscular Dystrophy Raises $140,000

On June 9, the Curran Family had over 500 attendees and raised over $140,000 at their 3rd Annual Kindness Over Muscular Dystrophy event to benefit PPMD in honor of their son, Conner. The event took place at Captain Lawrence Brewing Company in Elmsford, NY with over 15 amazing restaurants in attendance who supplied their time and food to all who attended.

Close to $60,000 was brought in through using OneCause, a mobile bidding platform that PPMD has partnered with, and is one of the many tools that can help make your own event a success. By using this platform, they were able to bring in over $22,000 in mobile donations in a matter of minutes.

Jessica Curran’s message of hope touched every single attendee in the room and she was sure to mention that without everyone else’s hope, their event would not be possible.

Thank you to the whole Curran family for an amazing event and all they do to help PPMD end Duchenne!
