We are thrilled to announce the launch of the new name and look for our endurance program, Race to End Duchenne. This new name reflects the dynamic nature this program has taken on over the past 13 years, as it’s moved from one race with 80 runners to a movement across multiple types of endurance events with more than 600 participants annually in races around the world.

The name Run For Our Sons has a special place in all of our hearts. But the name no longer reflects who we are as a team. We aren’t just parents racing on behalf of our sons. We are aunts, uncles, grandparents, brothers, sisters, co-workers, friends – and we’re racing for every single person with Duchenne.

If you’re currently registered for a race you’ll notice that your Personal Page/Team Page and Participant Center may look a little different, but rest assured that everything works exactly the same as it did before. Your page content, email contacts, donor information and any other information you’ve stored in your Participant Center has not been altered, and your donors will find your page and make donations the exact same way they did before.

We hope you are excited as we are about our new brand. You’ll see it rolled out on social media over the coming weeks as well. If you’re running a race with us in 2018 you’ll receive a Race to End Duchenne race shirt and t-shirt. You can purchase additional gear for yourself and your family here.
