- Florida Kid Care children’s health insurance program
Uninsured children under age 19 may qualify for Kid Care health care based on household size and income limits. Children who are insured may qualify for other Medicaid insurance.
Kid Care information - Medicaid
Adults over age 18 who are disabled may qualify for Medicaid based on income and assets. Florida residents who qualify for Social Security Income are automatically eligible for Medicaid.
Medicaid information - Statewide Medicaid Managed Long Term-Care Program (SMMC LTC)
This Home and Community Based Services program provides supports and services for adults over 18 who are eligible for Medicaid due to disability and meet Nursing Facility Level of Care criteria. Services include Home Accessibility Adaptation, Medical Equipment and Supplies, Personal and Attendant Care, Respite Services, and OT, PT and Respiratory Therapy.
