Health & Well-Being

  • Husky Health Connecticut
    Connecticut’s health care (Medicaid) for children and adults
    Husky A is an income based plan covering qualifying children and their parents or a child’s relative caregiver.
    Husky B covers eligible uninsured children to age 19 in higher income homes.   Cost sharing may apply based on household income.
    Husky C and Medicaid for Employees with Disabilities  Medicaid insurance for qualifying blind/aged/disabled individuals. Programs are income and asset based.

  • Katie Beckett Waiver
    The Katie Beckett Waiver, administered by the Department of Social Services (DSS), provides Medicaid healthcare services and supports to individuals 21 years of age and younger with a physical disability who may or may not have a co-occurring developmental disability. These services are for young adults and children who would normally not qualify for Medicaid due to family income.
